Menaa farm is in its early stages of development on 49 000 sqm of arable land with potable water and mainline power. We have a 10 year secure lease on 49,000 sq metres of arable land with potable water and mainline power. The building concept is to use green technology and local materials as far as possible. The heart of this project is to provide a safe and supportive environment for recovering addicts and alcoholics of all nationalities.
Rob and Family
Rob McFarlane has over 30 years experience in agricultural and landscape Architecture in the UAE during which time he has led sustainable farming projects that focus on growing crops in areas of high salinity. Rob’s vision drives this project. When accommodation is complete he will live on the farm with his wife Chris, and two children Joe and Anna.
Initially we need to raise funds to:
- Build proposed fish farm to support the running of the safe house
- Construct single accommodation units
- Construct training room and recreational facility
